Hi, I’m Autumn.
I believe in a simple camera, good light, and an honest story.
I've been photographing for more than two decades. For thirteen of them, I also worked the other side — as a Senior Creative Producer and Visuals Director, leading shoots for other people's stories. It taught me everything about how images are created and the best way to tell a story visually.
Now I photograph the people who make things — farmers and winemakers, chefs and ceramicists, woodworkers, bakers, builders — and the places their work comes from. Fields, kitchens, workshops.
I lean toward nostalgia and the grainy feel of film, I value candid moments over staged ones. I always want to tell the story as it happened, not as it was arranged.
I work on commission as a documentary and commercial photographer, and on the editorial briefs that send me looking for more of these stories.
Based in Montréal, rooted in Québec and Ontario, with regular work throughout New England and especially Maine. I've worked across the US and internationally.
I'll travel anywhere the story is.
